Each software package started as either a capstone design project or paid student project, and is now introduced to Vanderbilt students in their Process and Product Design course.

In 2010 a complete renovation of Olin Hall undergraduate Laboratory Space was completed. Renovation to the facility included both junior and senior laboratory modules and was intended to be a “traditional” unit operations lab space…

2018-2019 Technology Updates
We’re excited to add new laboratory technology and computer equipment to the ChIL. Two Ultimaker 3D Printers, a FilaBot single-screw extruder for making custom 3D printer filaments, and two WaterStep lab-scale chlor-alkali units were added to ChIL in 2018-2019 by contributions from an external donor. In addition, ten new 21-inch iMacs will be added in late 2019.
